The mods huddle at the table, staring in horror at the ask that lay before them.
“delete your story” echoes throughout their skulls, the demand too strong to resist.
“What should we do?” One of them asks, voice quiet, their eyes darting to look at their comrades.
How can they ignore such a request?
Mod Red swallows, and lets out a shuddering sigh.
“You know the rules,” they murmur, “an anonymous ask has told us to delete our story. We have to obey this random stranger on the internet.”
Their voice chokes towards the end of their sentence, and Mod Blue places a comforting arm around their shoulder.
Together, they go over to their blog, fingers shaking as it hovers over the delete button.
“It’s been fun,” Mod Pink says, a tremble in their words, and the rest of them nod, tears openly falling down their cheeks.
And with a final click, they disappear, their story and team lost to the void out of respect for this incredibly important anonymous person.
