Internet is spotty at best, so will probably not be able to update. Using spare time to make new graphics and catch up with the manga.
Just a short message on Grell. With the character poll Yana stated Grell to be an okama. This is her most recent comment on the matter. The confessional was a very bad joke on gay men. In the Japanese original it is cleary marked as a joke...
It is my understanding that Japan’s views of LGBT+ are far less understanding of sexual orientation than, for example, the tumblr community. My stance is still that it’s poor taste,(and I’ll even extend that to Yana Toboso) to continue to disrespect the LGBT+ community with those kinds of stereotypes. I’m still going to use female pronouns to counter misgendering and prejudice, since Yana and a lot of Japan still thinks this kind of thing is a joke, which isn’t at all okay.
Delay on confessions about the current story arc
I still need to catch up with the manga myself, let alone making graphics for it. I need more from the witch arc first. Basically if there’s anything sent about the current arc, it won’t be posted until I can get there. Also, try not to spoil stuff for me and that’d be GREAT. (I just finished the witch arc for reference)

I’m sure I’ll get these from other people, so I’ll make a public post.
When I first opened this blog, I was a sophomore in High School with way too much time on my hands. Never would I have believed this confessions blog would become so popular, let alone that I would have to abandon it for a while.The last few years of my life have been a lot more stressful than when I started this blog. My emotional health deteriorated and I needed to cut down on my work-load. I am only one person, after all. The other Mod was busy herself, and now both of us are college-aged so it’s even harder to collaborate. She left sometime a few years ago.
This blog is a one-person operation, and I think that’s how it’ll stay.
Another reason I left is because I was sick of all the negative energy within the fandom. I had enough stress in my life and I was also working on another project with SeasAventura to publish the rest of the unfinished Disturbia Saga, since she was too drained to do it. That’s still not quite finished. I didn’t like to keep promising updates just to fall through.
My laptop also decided to implode both times I was considering returning to this blog. Maybe it was an omen.
Now, I feel like I am the one in control of my life. I work as a private tutor so I make my own schedule. I have no other summer obligations, and I never forgot about this blog, so I figured I’d catch up with the manga and marathon season 3 with a friend. I have two separate computers that work and set up a much better system for making confessions posts.
TL;DR: Had no time. Now I have time.
I know this isn't a confession, but do you think I should watch season 2? I just finished season 1 and a lot of people were saying how I shouldn't watch the next season. I already know that it was very un-necessary, Ciel's soul was eaten by Sebastian and that's how it should of ended. In your opinion, would you recommend I watch the next season?
I think it's worth watching because you're missing out on some really awesome characters, but plot wise, you could live without it. At first, I was EXTREMELY confused about the plot, but it's all explained in the end.
TL;DR, it's your choice.
