pov: you’re at the deancas wedding, its been a wild party for hours now, the lovebirds in question are canoodling in a corner somewhere and the crowd is starting to tire and dwindle. the playlist moves from slow song to slow song until you hear a familiar song play on the jukebox. heads snap to attention and there is a sudden rush of about a dozen people to the dancefloor, Tina Turner like a siren over the speakers. other guests in attendance are confused at the random flash mob comprised of entirely australian guests. these are people who have never met but they’re all doing the same exact dance. cas gets curious and learns the dance and immediately drags dean to the dancefloor. they stumble their way thru the first 2 or 3 rotations of the dance. the aussies are absolutely wildin’. someone puts the song on again and more guests join the dance. the party is rejuvenated. its nutbush city limits baby

that’s right kuroo tetsurou/shirabu kenjirou i said it

alright but let’s consider what we’ve got here

kuroo: caring, provocative kuroo, who’s good at getting under your skin, needling people into doing what’s best for themselves, analytical and won’t ever push you farther than you feel safe going

shirabu: passionate, willing to do whatever it takes, sassy but not in a way where he’s trying to make fun of you, hides his insecurities as best as he can, quietly supportive and once you’ve earned his trust he’s loyal to the end

we’re getting kurotsuki vibes kinda but with more levity

i have a Whole Thing Planned for how they canonically meet and get together after high school but i’m going to put it in a longfic once i finish my current fic fest

anyways kuroo teasing and gently badgering his cute boyfriend

shirabu mostly deadpans or ignores whenever kuroo is being “annoying” but kuroo can genuinely get him riled up when need be

quietly curling up against each other or on each other’s laps without saying anything

kuroo coming up behind shirabu and slumping half of his bodyweight on him. shirabu says “you’re such a fucking baby” but doesn’t shake him off or anything

shirabu gets closed off when he’s having bad days wrt feeling inferior. kuroo knows not to push on those days, just patiently waits until shirabu finally cracks and kuroo is always there to put him back together

sometimes shirabu says really fucking funny one-liners that make kuroo lose it. he always delivers them without expression and it makes kuroo laugh harder

kuroo likes doing big romantic gestures. shirabu likes small ones that are presented without comment. they both learn to really appreciate the other’s way of showing love though

shirabu never feels like he has anything to prove to kuroo, but rather they can grow and learn together

kuroo is smitten with the many sides that shirabu has, and feels special when he knows he’s the only one who gets to see all of them

the couple none of their friends saw coming but in hindsight are like “why didn’t we introduce them sooner?”

it really makes perfect sense that will "kiss and drive over two hours to another state to tell" graham can't shut up about wanting to run away with a serial killer, and later can't shut up about how "intimately" he had come to know hannibal. you just know this bitch wouldn't have been able to stop fidgeting during hannibal's trial once he got asked what is his relationship to the accused. it's like 70% of why freddie was never gonna let him live in peace. he can't keep his fucking mouth shut about murder or his relationships the same way hannibal cannot resist making the cannibalism puns. this is also why i think hannigram could not have had a sexual relationship over the course of the show; will graham would not have managed to look like anything except a perpetually well-fucked man. he would've completely failed to hide hickeys or sit right on chairs, and would've shown up at crime scenes with swollen, bitten lips. he just cannot stop himself from being painfully obvious about what is going on with him carnally.

season 2 hannibal really looked at will, who'd just tried to have him murdered, and went "this attempt on my life has left me impressed and aroused. let me just unframe you for all these murders real quick by violently confirming your theory about my two serial killer-sonas being the same person, which previously no one believed you on, so you can be free to try to kill me again :)"
