*The crab looks stressed. Moepapa pets the crab.*
Stressed was an understatement to say the least, but at least he was doing better.
And the petting certainly helped.
“Thanks, babe." He leaned into the petting like an oversized cat.

*Moepapa gently tugged at Dominic's arm, sitting stopped by her side. She'd crept up quite stealthily. She appeared to be holding something in her arms, but it was difficult to tell.*
“Oh hi Moepapa” Dominic smiled “What’s up?”
*There is a very, very odd creature sitting on the ground of the dwelling. Its scavenger-sized, pink and purple, hunched over, and wearing a mask. It waves pleasantly up at the 100-feet dragon with a chirp and offers him a chocolate bar. Where did it come from? How did it even get there? Who knows."
Tilting his head at the sight of the bizarre creature, Tamatoa narrowed his eyes.
His wings arched slightly as he leaned toward it. However it got into his cave was a mystery, and he had no idea what to make of it.
Seemed pleasant enough though…
He carefully took the item from them to inspect. It didn’t have a scent he was familiar with. Sweet as well as bitter? “What is this?” he asked.

Jess: How am I going to stop the Monster Mafia? .... I know!
Jess: *brings lots of food for Mokomoko, Moepapa, and Ombra* Modern food from my people!
*Later*
Hunapo: Next order-
*most of his gang is eating and noticeably larger*
Hunapo: What the?!
*in Tamatoa's lair*
Jess: Never underestimate the power of human food! Mwahahaha!
"... Ah." Ombra chewed on his lip, "The gang's not felling very festive. People have been chucking snowballs at them all morning. So I'm glad for a refuge for the day." He smiled a bit at Moepapa's antics with the crablings. "You're doing well with the kids I see. Seems you had nothing to worry about."
“Ha! Serves ‘em right! ... Though a week or two ago, people were throwing snowballs at me too... Still wondering where the hell they got ‘em from, since there’s no snow in thousands of miles.”
Tamatoa shrugged, then smiled. “Yeah, these guys are less of a handful than I thought... and while they’ve got their mother’s shapeshifting abilities, they don’t use them anywhere as often as I was afraid of.”
As if scripted, Taonga giggled, and in a brief flash of light he tried to turn into a spider-bat just like Moepapa. Wasn’t quite right, given it was his first try... bit too much bat over spider, but it was a pretty decent attempt.
He spread his wings and smiled and Moepapa before trying to grab the bells out of her claws.
*Moepapa pets his face comfortingly.*
Even in his current state, Tamatoa seemed happy to see the little spider-bat. “Oh hey! Haven’t seen you in a while, babe,” He smiled as he leaned into the affection. “Glad to see ya... How’re things going on the edge of the territory?”

*So many pretty crabs. Moepapa gives a thumbs-up.*
Matā returned the wave. “Hello there! Another mate of yours, Tam?”
“Nah, this one’s jut a friend.” He gently scratched behind Moepapa’s ear.
