SAKHA, mentored by Percussion Maestro Taufiq Qureshi on the #LifeIsMusic competition, won the contest when the results were announced at the end of Episode 12 last week. This week, the band performs along with the three maestros, Louiz Banks, Purbayan Chatterjee and Taufiq Qureshi as well as Bass prodigy Mohini Dey and recreates the magic of Pace of Mind.

Titled 'Timeless', the track has been composed by the Godfather of Jazz in India, Louiz Banks, who takes inspiration from the sun, the wind, and the flowing river to create this mesmerizing piece. Louiz Banks and his son, popular drummer Gino Banks share a musical camaraderie and Louiz Banks admits that he learns everytime he plays with Gino, and re-invents himself each time. Timeless has a distinct flavor to it, spiced up by the Indian Classical touch that Sitarist Purbayan Chatterjee brings to it through his Sitar riff.
