looks out of window longingly…… uh probably like backpacking through europe or something dumb like that. something long and mostly unplanned. yes.

The Hemulen: Tell us about one thing that fascinates you.

uhhhh probably…. how people can interpret the same things so differently.

like i mean with scripts, song lyrics, quotes, different people can see/here the same thing and draw a hugely different conclusion about what it means, how to say it, etc etc, than anyone else and it’s great. it’s great too with prompts, like when i do drama workshops and we get given a prompt to make a scene from, and how everyone’s is different it’s just yes yes yes i love this wow i’m a nerd….

i especially actually like it with characters and actors. particularly shakespeare’s characters, but theatre in general, there’s just so much left up to interpretation, it’s really cool too to see how a character’s perception has changed over time, with what is/isn’t socially acceptable changing around it.

like there’s a scene in hamlet where he talks to his dead father, and in some interpretations, it’s his ghost. but in others, it’s just a hallucination, and in others (my personal favourite) it isn’t clear if he’s actually there or not.

it’s kind of why i don’t really believe in annoying characters, just badly portrayed ones. if you cast a good enough actor/you’re a good enough writer, even characters that are annoying to the other characters can be entertaining to the audience. i think this way of seeing things is why i just don’t dislike characters like ever. i just get annoyed at the creators/actors lmao

thanks!!! and good luck with that i've made two times chocolate buttercream and i have never been really satisfied with the result idk i found it kinda hard to make

i don't know if this is uplifting or depressing bUT i had braces for almost five years because my teeth were beyond the extremes fucked up and i went through 2 mouth/teeth surgeries but it was totally worth it in the end cause now i have absolutely fabulous teeth! so if i survived, although after much pain and cries, you'll have beautiful straight teeth in no time! don't worry friend, you'll get used to the feeling and the look sooner than you think and suddenly you won't need them anymore :)
