Moim Coffee, 3505 Eagle Rock Blvd Los Angeles (Glassell Park), CA 90065, Score: 32/50
Moim is a coffee pop-up. The owner clearly has a passion for coffee. He roasts the beans and makes the drinks. Hours are limited.
Score: 32/50
Food: 0/5 – Nothing offered, but you can go to Bub & Grandma’s next door, get something and eat it at Moim Â
Coffee: 5/5 – I just had a cappuccino and it was excellent – balanced, foam wasn’t too light, could taste the milk and espresso in every sip, flavorful and not bitter
Wi-fi: 5/5 – Free, unlimited, ask for the password
Ambiance: 3/5 – Feels a bit unfinished/minimal. The walls are covered in aluminum foil
Noise: 3/5 – Loud music but calming, traffic noise
Plugs: 3/5 – Spotted some on the wall near the exit door
Parking: 4/5 – I’ve always been able to find parking in the neighborhood
Comfort: 3/5 –All the seating is hard (and wood). Tables are small but can fit two people with laptops. Tables aren’t too close together.
Bathroom: 3/5 – There is one in the back
Art: 3/5 – None unless you count the aluminum foil all over the walls
Tips: Specializes in pour over coffee, mostly light roast. The beans are roasted in Pasadena. They have a coffee subscription program. The wait can be long because the owner makes all the drinks.
