Oh hey look it's Moira! It's been a long time since I drew her, but I figured I'd brush up her profile for Art Fight, since that's coming up.

She's my Warden's child, or she was to start off with, then I kidnapped her to become my femShep when I got into Mass Effect in 2016, and then after ME3 I thought it would be funny to punt her back to Thedas. So here we are, one PTSD and wound ridden spy master struggling to redjust to life without coffee on demand and space travel, and guns!

She is a paragon, but I reckon that the stress of being sent back to Thedas after taking a dip in the crucible's energy, on top of everything else causes her scars from the Lazarus project to reopen and have screaming "RED LYRIUM ABOMINATION" at her until they're healed.

Also, I may be shit at designing weapons, but I'm pretty pleased with how her cross bow/sniper rifle looks. I wanted it to look as close to a medievel approximation to the mantis sniper rifle as I could, and I think I got there. Anyway, hope you like her!

Okay, so I started playing the Sims 3 again, and going through a lot of the custom content out there (because I can't not play the sims without custom content), I found a lot of Mass Effect stuff.

So I present to you now, Mass Effect in Sims 3!

So far, I have Moira Shepard, Garrus, Liara, Samara, Miranda, Jack, Ashley and Tali in game, or at least, under one roof. I know there are sims out there for Thane, Kaidan, James Vega, and a few of the others, I just haven't gotten around to adding them yet. Outside of the house, Aria T'Loak is floating around (I spent a good morning trying to recreate Afterlife with the music as best I could, stupid wall speakers), Morinth (of course), and a few husks.

As far as custom content goes, the only thing I did was to try and make Samara's outfits like her ingame ones, other than that, everything else can be found online, and at some point I will do a masterpost of all these and where I found them.

I'll update occasionally with some of the funnier screenshots, in the meantime, hope you enjoy this lot.

More Sims 3 Mass Effect screencaps.

So far, Jack and Garrus are the best to watch, Jack because she's spontaneous, and Garrus because him doing anything is frigging hilarious. Today, Tali managed to set fire to her butt while inventing something, and while I was checking up on some of my other sims in the neighbourhood, Samara and Miranda hooked up, as did Moira and Liara (they've since split up), but WOW. Not sure how the hell that happened, thinking because the mastercontroller mod added new interactions (including romance), that it's more likely to happen. Tune in next time!

Experimental sketch/paint/thing with Moira Shepard. I wasn't going to post this, but I was really happy with how her face turned out, so I cropped it and just focused on this area. I wanted to draw how she'd look as she made her way to the beam after being shot down by Harbinger. She's just so tired and broken and done with absolutely everything.

One day I will be good at painting, one day.

Also, it's apparently Shepard's birthday today, so here, have some angst and pain for your birthday! :D

Before and after drawings of Moira Shepard, because it's really funny looking back at my old drawings of her when she was just Moira Mac Tir before she got thrown into the Mass Effect universe (because I didn't want to think up another oc at the time) and became Moira Shepard. She still looks like a teenager in the first one, even though there's only an age gap of about 3 years, give or take two years because she was dead.

I'm really happy with her appearance now, she has more of her parent's looks, and she's a little bit more of an interesting character, because of her experiences in ME she has a little bit more of an emotional vulnerability, which she feels she has to keep hidden, she has ptsd from the events of ME3 and not knowing how everything turned out, but she also has a little bit more social skills, so she can do her job of advisor/spymaster of Ferelden more easily without alienating anyone accidently. She's a bit more mature now too, thank goodness. Enough of me rambling, hope you like this!
