It is an odd sensation, to love a friend so passionately one might mistake it for romance. My dearest Pacifica is the closest I may ever come to a soul-mate. It may be uncommon for me to express such ardent sentiment in a journal I have dedicated to my studies, but she has become so intrinsic to my life that I feel I cannot make it through these accounts without mentioning her.
It is my sixteenth birthday today, and although Mother and Father have been pleasant enough in the instances I have spoken to them, my darling friend has been the luminary behind marking this day out from all others. There were few presents - but the only one that truly mattered was an exquisite fountain pen, engraved with my initials, from Pacifica as must be obvious. But it is not the gift that made this such an incredible occasion - rather it was the company in which I spent it.
There is little need for pretension between Pacifica and I. No ceremony was observed, no ostentation. Merely the two of us, with food for a picnic and each other, sitting in the clearing by the lake that we have made our own. We spoke for hours on subjects ranging from the petty to the infinite, but I shall not recount them for they matter not. What mattered was that My Heart and I were in each other’s arms, dozing in the noon sun, completely content in each other as if the rest of the world was non-existent.
I truly believe that should Pacifica have been a man, or myself for that matter, then nothing would make me happier than to wed, for she is the only other in this maddeningly small-minded town that truly understands me. Without her, I am incomplete.
"The amount of people here to gloat over the imprisonment of the Northwests is incredibly pleasing to me."
sTHE GREEK GODLY PARENT QUIZ
Moira’s Godly Parent Is: Hades
Your godly parent is Hades, The God of the Dead and Wealth, Lord of the Underworld.
Children of Hades usually are isolated and used to doing things alone. Your solitary existence makes you susceptible to being very wary of strangers, and while you appreciate and crave kindness, you might feel offended as you believe you don't need any special treatment. Children of Hades appear calm and quiet but can be passionate with joy, love, or rage when situations arise. Because Hades oversees law and conduct, children of Hades tend to have a set definition of acceptable morals and require a lot of help to change their perspectives. You are extremely protective of the small circle of people that you trust, and any insult to them is an insult to you, which you will not forget anytime soon. Despite being honorable, misunderstood, lawful, intelligent and hardworking, children of Hades can have a darker side too, warping these traits into cunning, ruthlessness and deviousness. More often than not, the good rules over the bad, and children of Hades operate in grey areas to ensure that they achieve their end result.

It had been four months, and Moira still came back to that same spot almost every day. Four months and Weirdmageddon was beginning to fade, a distant memory in the minds of it’s survivors. But she still came to that place where the statue was. She didn't know why. The event hadn't scarred her any more than it had everyone else, so it wasn't really revenge related. But she sat there for hours and just.. talked. Rambling on about this and that. Her latest achievement of the occult, her frustration that not even nearly dying had made her any dearer to her parents, just things that needed saying. Why speak to an inanimate object? let alone an inanimate object that had nearly laid waste to the entire town and by extension, the world? By emotional standards, she should hate him with everything she had in her. Try to destroy the damned thing. But that didn’t happen either.. Maybe she just needed someone who at least looked like they were listening. If that was the case, the stone creature did it’s job well enough. Still, she couldn't help but wonder.. What would happen if she shook the outstretched hand? She had wondered that the first time she came to the place, but instead sat down and read the book she had brought. Four months later and the desire to know still wasn’t any less.. The day she turned fifteen, she came to the spot in the forest as usual, but instead of sitting down next to the statue, she stood infront of it. “You better not screw me over for this..” And grasped the outstretched stone hand in her own.
Fun Fact: Though Moira generally sees most people as beyond caring about, if she deems someone worthy enough she will go out of her way to gain their approval

Moira’s mother had always told her not to walk while reading, and for the most part she didn’t. But if the book was good enough then she may not be able to help herself. The Gravity Falls library was full of books that no library out of town would ever have. Books with spells and rituals and curses. So many books that it would probably take Moira until she graduated to finish them all. Of course, they weren’t grouped into one section, so finding them proved to be a task in itself. But today her searches were rewarded with a more recent book on covens during the seventies and eighties, and how they substituted more difficult to come by ingredients with easier to find items. Walking down mainstream, Moira was absorbed. Until she walked straight into a smaller body, around a head shorter than her. “Sorry- Didn’t see you there..”
