I can understand that there is a lot going on at first. I'm so glad that you used extremely legal ways to watch MDZS because god forbid you used ILLEGAL methods. Who would do that? How strange, how confusing!!! If it helps, sometimes it's best to take notes of what you think to be important lore so then you can refer back to it if it's mentioned in plot. I do that with a lot of books (and Ace Attorney) because my ass does not have time to remember actually everything I read - especially if I've got two or three books on the go at once
