The finale of the dub for Combatants Will Be Dispatched released today on Funimation! For those who don't know, I voice the lead, Agent Six, who is an awful stinkboy and hands-down the most fun character I've ever gotten the chance to play.

To commemorate the show, I drew this! There are a lot of busty women in this show, but I knew I had to draw the obvious OTP, Six and Mokemoke, the giant blue shrimp he befriends in the woods for five seconds before Snow murders it.

Combatants was a really incredible dubbing experience. Normally with ADR/dub work there isn't a lot of freedom to change the script or play with things because you're working with a set number of lip flaps, but the Combatants team was VERY aware the show was a trashy comedy (affectionate) and told me in the first session that if I ever had any jokes or specific phrases we wanted to fit in, we could do it. I think over the course of the show I suggested about 15-20 lines that actually made it into the final cut. We added so many dumb bits on the fly and I genuinely think they're some of the best gags in the show. It'll be years before I have this much fun working on an anime again.
