Here I tried some new stuff.
The first print was just monoprint and then I used some thin wood pieces to print relief on top and create perspective and texture.
The second print though is a new technique we had a workshop on. It’s called moko litho. It involves drawing on a woodblock with different medias, all having a certain amount of grease in them. Later on it goes a bit like lithography. The drawing on it needs to be washed off and the ink put on. You print it and you get different results depending on what you used to draw on it.
I based those two prints on beautiful rocks covered with moss that I saw on the beach.
