haven’t really been able to fact-check this (i’m pretty sure the quoted message is from a discord server which i don’t have access to), but it seems like MoL is getting a deal with a publishing company!! really exciting news, though I’d personally advise to hold back hopes/expectations until Nobody announces this himself (whether through his Patreon or his worldbuilding blog).
the screenshot is from this post in MoL’s reddit btw. all (most?) MoL fanpodcasts have been taken down throught the past week or so, it seems (you can find at least one other post in the reddit addressing this about another fanpodcast)
I wonder if this deal is only for the rights to the official audiobook or if this means a physical version is really in the works... MoL would need quite a few books to fit the entire novel, after all (between 5 and 8, most likely. keep in mind that it’s about 2000-3000 pages long, depending on the format used), though maybe the publishers might only release the first ‘book’ and wait to see how if it does well before going after the entire thing?
also nice to see that Voraces would be the one doing the audiobook! I personally prefer reading rather than listening to audiobooks so in truth i haven’t listened much of his, but from what I remember it was pretty good (...didn’t like Kiri’s voice, but otherwise enjoyed it)
