Gun control bullshit going on right now, people thinking with emotions instead of logic. They think banning guns and taking them out of the hands of law abiding citizens is really going to make a difference? As if criminals and psychopaths obey laws. While they're at it they should make murder illegal too. Banning guns and thinking that it is going to decrease mass shootings is like thinking that the war on drugs works and keeps people from obtaining them. If someone is mentally ill and wants to kill people they're going to do it regardless of the method, look at the Boston Bombers and the multiple Islamist extremists that have used vehicles to carry out their attacks that have caused mass fatalities. Too all the people that think it's so easy to obtain firearms I urge them to go fill out a 4473 and go through the background checks and they would realize there are already laws in place to stop people with a violent past, mental illness or felonies from owning firearms. We don't need more gun laws, they need to enforce the ones we already have. More gun control doesn't mean less crime, look at Chicago and other major cities in America that have extremely strict gun control, they have the highest amounts of gun violence, mainly gang shootings. Something the media won't tell you is that when they use the statistics for people killed by guns every year that the vast majority of them are suicides and gang related. On average about 115 people die every day from heroin overdoses, how about we make heroin illegal...... oh yeah, it's already illegal just like murder is. My point is, people will always obtain the means to do harm to others if they are sick and demented and set thier mind to it. No one can bring any logical ideas into this debate other than "ban guns". The laws they want to implement would only hurt law abiding citizens. That's my rant for the day.
