Howdy y'all, I've been away for a bit, but my first year of art college is almost done!

However I'm not here posting art this time, I'm curious if anyone can help me figure out what this is.

Me and 2 friends of mine were roomates last semester, 1 moved out when we had to go home for break due to personal stuff, but they left a lot behind they didn't need or forgot to throw away (no it wasn't a huge mess and we're all still friends so no worries). They had this habit reusing plastic bottles, and I guess they filled a lemonade container with water, but forgot about it. Said container remained in our fridge over break and during that time Sonic was born!

Me and my roommate who came back found Sonic, named him, and kept him. However since the year is almost over Sonic may have to be yeeted. We at least wanna see if we can figure out what he is, so I've decided to post him here.

Can anyone please try and help us figure out what he is? Lol, nothing we've researched has helped besides him being slightly similar to a moss ball, but I don't know how that would even be possible.

Also yes he is still in the fridge, we keep him next to the ranch

Unpopular opinion... Trichomoniasis is not a reason to toss a grow outside. Don't believe me? Next time you get a contaminated grow, separate the tote from the others,cut out all the mold, pour H2O2 all over your substrate (yes it will bubble and fizz), spray sides and lid with H2O, cover and don't take off lid for at least 12 hours. After opening the tote,spot pour a bit of H2O2,spray heavily with H2O, replace lid and do not disturb for 2 days (although I am a bit extra with the helicopter Mumming so I do constantly check on it without opening the lid) on the third day introduce FAE and watch your mushies grow...(I like to bubble wrap while waiting)...so yeah I have tried this several times and it's been successful in saving grows EVERY SINGLE TIME...So yeah...just in case this can help someone I thought I would share...mush luv Mumther
