Consider.. Blue but he has to wear glasses instead of Vio. How would that go?
It's very often we see Vio being given the glasses due to his nerd/smartie given role of the fandom- but glasses aren't just for smart people.. they're for people who unfortunately semi-lose their eyesight over a short period of time.
Think about it, Blue being frozen in the ice beforehand had to have some consequence to it--and his eyes were wide open when he was frozen. That had to do damage. I think shortly after the events of the manga it comes to everyone's attention that Blue is struggling to see and make things out from a distance, pls the fact things are really blurry in front of him. If anyone were to notice this first, it'd be Vio. Vio always notices that something is wrong no matter which link it is. But he pays the most attention to Blue.
When he confronts Blue about it, of course he's going to deny it. Who the hell would? When it comes to being a hero, you need all of your senses. You can't walk around in glasses- nobody would take you seriously, and not to mention how dumb you'd look-
But it's futile. Blue ends up getting those glasses. He can't ditch them- can't throw them away. Zelda got them made for him specifically.
He hates them. He doesn't want to wear them. Some fellow knights joke about it, others give him prolonged stares as they're unable to grasp the concept of the blue hero needing glasses.
And then there's Vio.
Vio is always staring at him. He compliments Blue whenever he can, tells him his tactics and techniques are improving day by day. He even offers to replace Blue's glasses if they're ever too tight, loose or broken. It gets to Blue. He hates it, but he also.. likes it?
He's a sucker for praise.
Blue starts wearing them more, starts cleaning them often and taking better care of it. He even wears them while training recruits. He likes wearing glasses. He likes wearing whatever will get him compliments from Vio and he'd never admit it out loud. If it can happen with glasses, it could happen with anything.
He's screwed and he knows it.
