She wasn't all that fond of the place she'd been housed in, instead preferring to roam the city and live off the land so to speak. She was used to such by now after all so it wasn't all that difficult, although rustling up some grub took a bit more initiative considering she had no money. Made harder still by having a majority of her bending blocked, yet with waterbending she'd been able to catch some fish from the pond in sector sixes park. Making a fire by hand had proved difficult but she'd been taught such skills when growing up, eventually managing to create a decent flame to roast her fish on.
She begins to eat, rather pleased with herself. Though surely the sight would seem a little peculiar to onlookers, a woman sitting in the middle of a park eating fish on a stick. Maybe that's why this kid takes particular note of her, and she finds herself midway eating when she notices him staring at her. "Er...you want some?" There was plenty to share after all, somewhat oblivious to how strange her actions could seem. Korra had changed much over the past few years, but some things never changed.
