Summary: "An Indian-American daughter marries an Indian immigrant and sponsors his visa. One day their world is turned upside down: She charges him with wife-battering and he charges the police of being racist in their handling of his arrest. What happens when race and racism is used in the context of violence against women?" . I play an overzealous cop (is he racist???) in one of the most interesting roles I've ever had the privilege of doing. You can see from the poster just how intense this guy is! 😂 . The original play was titled 'Counter Offence' and written in 1997 by Canadian playwright Rahul Varma. It's been adapted for the screen in a way that retains the feel of its theatrical origins -- part cinema, part play -- a #Cineplay! . Kudos to the powerhouse cast, maestros @sajitwarrier & @ritesh_menon, and really the ENTIRE team at @CITOC_mp for bringing this important drama to the screen. CITOC Rocks! .
