Over the past year we planted 150 milkweed plants in the Children’s Garden meadow! This area includes our Monarch Waystation and is dedicated to attracting butterflies, monarchs in particular. What a perfect place to look for monarch butterflies (and caterpillars)! This is whorled milkweed! It’s native to Wisconsin, and so many people don’t realize it’s milkweed while coming across it in nature. 2020 Native Plant Sales

East Michigan Native Plants, LLC (aka Designs By Nature East, LLC) provides pesticide-free, local genotype, Michigan native wildflowers and perennials for fundraiser plant sales, restoration and natural landscaping, pollinator gardening and Monarch Waystations, as well as at local Farmers Markets.
