1st International Debutante Ball

Although the 1st International Debutante Ball went smoothly, there were quite a few unexpected occurences that affected the night for some people. One of which was an overheard conversation between King Ayo of Brindleton Bay and Dakari.

After accidentally overhearing the conversation, Jafari realises that he needs to cheer Princess Amara up but he knows he can’t do it himself.

And so, Prince Philip of Windenburg recruits the help of the third leg to their trio: Sir Alistair and together, they approach Princess Amara.

On arrival, Prince Philip explains what happened to Sir Alistair who is just as frustrated as he is. But together, the two are able to comfort Princess Amara with just a few words: a shared secret between the three best friends.

And once all is said and done, Amara feels like she can actually enjoy the rest of the evening, and she starts with Jafari

WHEN THE bloodshed ensued, she was instantly thrown into it on her own free will. this was her. a bloodthirsty pirate. this was her element and she began to feel the rush of her powers return to her. ironblood. that’s what she was. one of those that attacked. but her powers were still weak, unusable. so she had to resort to using her whip. it’s not like she wasn’t used to it. 

she made her way through the carnage, her whip just creating more. that’s when she saw shufen. she thought about ending him right then and there... but that would fail her father’s plot.  and that’s when she saw the ironblood coming towards him. she should have just walked away-- should have just let him fall. but her bladded whip wrapped around the ironblood’s head and before he could use his powers, she pulled with all her strength, decapitating him. “thought you’d be a better fighter.” she huffed at him, looking him over.
