After entering Sikkim i went to Pelling and started the Monastry Loop Trek with a guy from New Zealand. Remoted villages and steep climbs through the jungle.. crossing lots of rivers where we went for a swim. Good fun.
Day 1: Travel to Pelling
Day 2: Hike from Pelling to Khecheopalri Lake
Day 3: Hike from Khecheopalri Lake to Yuksom
Day 4: Hike from Yuksom to Tashding
Day 5: Return to Gangtok or Darjeeling by vehicle
