Gomez and Morticia are the blueprint
A packet of Fighters brand Monster Monch!
“Pleasure and pain can be so close together in the darkness, and so very far apart.”
Mori no Naka de Koshaku ga Hirotta no wa Vol.2
Meet Moncher and Peeper, a couple of fodder monsters for my DnD campaign! I need to write the statblock for these two, but for now, I plan for the eyey one to be a support, and the teethy one a damage dealer. Peeper will be able to mark targets (such as with Guiding Bolt) to give advantage to Moncher, and may even get some sort of truesight. Moncher can deal a lot of damage, but unless there's a Peeper around, it may even attack at random to whoever is in it's range. These two are for a new dungeon I'm going to introduce to my players, The Nightmare. I want to explore a mechanic where they may access memories of the past through places that have had some sort of historical importance or tragedies. In these places, reality weakens and gives place to mindscapes, formed by the remembrance of those that once dwelt in these corners.
