2025 and still getting disappointed in people. Why bother caring for others or do stuff for others. They will collect it and that's it.

okay not to sound Bitter TM but it drives me fucking nuts when adults complain that in elementary school they were in a gifted and talented program and now in their 20s/30s they realize they arent special or truly gifted and it makes them feel bad or whatever else they complain about and blah blah blah, but i just think of me in elementary school, seeing the kids in the gifted and talented program being whisked away to whatever they got to do in private. feeling inadequate and unspecial as a child definitely feels worse then growing up and realizing you arent but maybe thats just me. everytime i see those posts i just think of how sad and jealous i was at 8 years old, wondering why i wasnt considered gifted or talented even though i thought i was special. like to me its just like bitch be grateful you got to feel something good in your childhood like damn 😭😭😭😭

arrived at my sisters safe and sound. blizzard over the pass didn't happen so it was actually quite a pleasant drive.
