It's pathetic what passes for "financial advice" online today. Seriously! Money sense put out an article about a couple making $180k a year who were struggling to stay afloat in the GTA. Way to alienate a ton of people first of all! They were doing a mixture of smart and dumb things and Money sense doesn't tell them to pay off their 90k in debt from their house reno or to budget and cut expenses. Nope! "Stop over saving...forget the emergency fund...put emergencies on your line of credit".
