My wife Monique is an amazing art director, and it's always a pleasure when we get to work together.

In fact, her mag—Electronic Gaming Monthly—beat out Juxtapoz for a Folio award a few years back. (and I've obviously never forgiven her about it;)

This photoshoot by Claudia Goetzelmann Monique art directed was also part of that Folio award-winning article.

I got stuck helped out with the Photoshop work on this project, but it's all good—it's still as close as I've ever come to a Folio award!

These just rolled off the press this morning too!

Monique and I are both really stoked on how these @Gamer magazine media kits turned out for Future US' marketing department.

Monique designed the media kit, and I handled the print brokering and prepress work.

This was printed digitally on the Kodak NexPress sheet-fed press over at Direct Response Imaging. It's a great press for quick turn-around in San Francisco on pieces up to 14x20 inches, and the dimensional ink capability makes it a really versatile option.

3rd round of proofs are back on the @Gamer mag media kits, and the rich black is finally right where the client wants it.
