i am monkey d. luffy and i am kind of blown away. i have said for years that i wanted a zoan fruit, and tried so many times to justify a way for the gomu gomu no mi to be reclassified as one. it was all just fun and games for me though, we already had its canon classification and i was fine being just a funny rubber boy.

but. it is a zoan fruit. and i'm not just any funny rubber boy, i am The Funny Rubber Boy. it's so - it feels unbelievably validating to know that i was right for so long. i had never thought my silly little headcanon would be actual canon.
