“What a sweet couple! You remind me of me and my old Henry back when we were your age.”
Yoshitsugu guesses it’s difficult to blame the old lady for mistaking him for…well, Chrom’s girlfriend or wife. She squints at them from behind her owl’s eye glasses that are as thick as the bottoms of Coke bottles. Couple her poor sight with the fact that he had long hair, smooth skin and a gentle and fluid way of moving, it is undeniably easy to mistake him for a taller girl. Chrom helping his light-headed friend off the bus, ever the gentleman, did not help matters. Over the wall of his scarf, Yoshitsugu’s eyes curve softly, an indication of a smile directed at the woman. He loops his arm around Chrom’s affectionately despite the other’s reaction.
“I’m glad you think so. I love my husband very much, and he loves me.“ The old lady appears to be delighted, giving them a smile and a cookie wrapped in cellophane she’d somehow conjured out of her giant purse before turning to go and board the bus they’d just come off of. Yoshitsugu gives his friend’s muscular arm a pat, mischief subtly coloring silver eyes. ”I guess that means we’re married. At least I’ve got a strapping husband.“
