“...............”
Rather than saying anything, his face just bloomed an embarrassed shade of red as he dropped his gaze to his feet. It was taking all his willpower to keep the warmth from collecting even more on his face, but his heart kept on beating fast. He hoped that he wouldn’t be found out.

Here he is! Meet Monoma Orikoto ( 織言 )!
ori ( 織 ) — (n.)weave, weaving, woven item
koto (言 ) — (n.)word, remark, statement
this is also in reference to kotoba ( 言葉 ) — (n.) language, dialect; word, words, phrase, term, expression, remark; speech, (manner of) speaking
Quirk: NONE. HE’S QUIRKLESS, WHAT???
For better or for worse, Orikoto on the surface seems to be very similar if not exactly like Monoma whenever he’s being talked to – sarcastic, cunning, passionate in mocking or challenging others, and even being vocal with this display of behavior. Orikoto reached out to Monoma in order to master his word choice, and because of this people assume he may as well have a superiority complex with a dangerous hint of some manipulative dark side.
Sadly, this behavior displayed on the surface is what became his defense mechanism towards bullies and discrimination. Quirklessness is looked down upon, after all.
In reality, Orikoto is insecure, mistrustful, and an overall quiet and reserved boy, especially when he’s peacefully being left alone, because that means he won’t have to put up his walls. Almost all the fights he ends up getting into are always started by the opposing group and not him, so it’s safe to say that he himself is never looking for a fight as well. Much like Midoriya, he’s extremely mindful of others, retaining the heart of a hero and being more than willing to be the sacrifice on another’s behalf. Once you get to know him and break past his walls, Orikoto becomes an extremely loyal friend, as well as an honest, soft sweetheart who’ll always mind his words.
Calm, intelligent, highly analytical and very observant, his tendency to people-watch even becomes one of his strongest points in combat. And speaking of combat, Orikoto most definitely pursues becoming a hero, and this is likely thanks to Midoriya encouraging him to believing that anyone with a heart of gold can be a hero, Quirkless or not. So long as he’s willing to try, and so long as he wants to push on, his efforts will all come to fruition in due time. Because as far as Midoriya knows, being a hero despite being Quirkless isn’t some half-baked dream after all. Midoriya is always willing to spar with Orikoto, as well as being open for discussion whenever Orikoto considers all kinds of fighting techniques and combat methods.
‘Pre-Quirk Era’ fictional superheroes like Batman, Spiderman, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Iron Man are one of his biggest inspirations for his fighting style and myriad of support gears. Take that in addition to his unwavering determination and cunning ways with word choice, and you’ll be wondering if you’ve truly won against him, or perhaps still in his spider web.
Like Midoriya, Orikoto also ends up accumulating his own piles of hero analysis notebooks. He’s probably gone through all of Deku’s own piles several times and more as well. Talk about passionate.
