WOW WHAT A WEEK We want to thank everyone for being so stoked to support us as we reopen! We also need to make a couple announcements: 1. As we move forward with scheduling, we want everyone to know that we want to tattoo you. That being said, the people we had to cancel on and reschedule, or who left deposits prior to the shut down are being scheduled first. That's the most honorable way to move forward and that's what we are doing. The shop wouldn't be here right now without a few good people who prepaid and left deposits, because it took so long for us to get Covid funding. 2. Now we have a company policy that was created to protect the mental health and private lives of our employees so let us tell you about it, because it's impacting how quickly new inquiries are responded to. At Inkblot we prefer our employees only work on the clock, so when we are communicating with our artists off the clock we don't require them to respond or acknowledge this communication (unless it's an emergency, like the shop is on fire and their stuff might get burned up) until they're at work next. What does this mean for you guys? What this means for you guys as our clients is that when we forward your information to your artist, we do not expect them to open or respond to that until they are getting paid to do so. Sometimes that creates like a 24-48 hour gap in response time if they're off for the day or next couple of days. It isn't personal and we still love you, but everyone needs some space from their jobs. Due to our booking lag, we understand if it's confusing and frustrating if they don't hit you back right away, but don't worry it's not because we are blowing you off! We also ask for patience because we are navigating the industry during a time that is very confusing, and we have a lot of protocols and extra steps to be worried about when doing the tattoo dance.
