the descendants of Louis XIV
James Clack in Versailles (s3) as Louis, Dauphin de France
Some Captive Hearts inspired pics with me as fem!Monseigneur and @tinylazyhobbit as fem!John.
Captive Hearts by @nana-41175 is to this day one of my favorite Sherlock fanfictions, I definitely reccomend checking it out if you haven't already.
Le Prélat
Louis le Grand Dauphin had a total of 16 half-siblings, of which whom 9 survived infancy.
That’s a lot of half-siblings.
We hear people have a large number of half-siblings if their father was a sperm donor. Sperm donors aren’t technically “fathers”, per se, but they are still the biological parent. So, in a biological sense, the offspring that other women have with his sperm will be considered half-siblings. But, not in the case of Louis le Grand Dauphin. There was no such thing as ‘sperm donor’. It was all due to the fact that his father, Louis XIV, had a raging libido and couldn’t keep the goodies in.
Palace Of Versailles, Monseigneur’s Courtyard.
