Monster GO-DJ Portable System

When I say this setup for the first time, I sort of liked it. It was different than any of the other controllers on the market, except for the offering that Numark has where an iPad can actually be fitted inside of the mixer. Basically, this is one of the few lower end MIDI controllers that have a screen that is actually built into the unit. Not only is it a screen, it is a nice screen – much nice than what you will find on something like the Ableton Push or even the NI Maschine. Is this nice screen really worth such a controller? When the first rendition of this device was made, it was not made by Monster. It was made a by an Asian company that few had ever heard of before. Now that it has been adapted by Monster, it sort of leaves an uneasy feeling in my stomach. Given the relationship of Dr. Dre’s Beats and Monster Audio, I’m wondering if this controller received some sort of downgrade in terms of its quality.
