Two monster references for OCs[yeah they count as that] for small ref sheets. 

Top;; 

Paw Hands Macgee Ei’chara, kinda of like a glowing fur monster. Originally the exposed skin was scaled, but it’s design changed a little so it’s like snakeskin smooth. Not really enough to dot with scales in detailing [at least for me] - A total of 4 mouths, and 4 ‘eyes’ but they’re more gem like than anything else. Their beanpaws glow too as well as the fingernails on their feet hands.  

They’re pretty gentle and kind, like to sleep under beds and act as a kind of nightlight to scared kids. Travels through closets ect usually to snuggle lonely kids if they’re not scared [since they act more like a dog young kids don’t find it that scary.] Not fond of cruel parents. Will happily eat them alive. 

Bottom;; 

A different type of construct that’s built different than the others ‘mimics’ -- named Peekie, it’s beak is made of fingers, and it doesn’t actually eat or need sustenance, but it works great as a look out to chirp and alarm other things.  Peekie himself is pretty chill and like to just nap wrapped around poles and pillars. Capable of soft flight, and low gliding, he’d much rather look at pretty things than hunt humans.  Show him shiny new things and he’ll just hang out with you and I guess give you a hug if you want one lol.

References and info about a species in made! They are called Cordus, which is a mix of the Latin words for heart(cor) and peaceful(placidus). Cordus are peaceful creatures that won't fight willingly, though they are still viewed as monsters and threats by the government, which is in the process of trying to kill the Cordus and other magic creatures in the world.

Cordus are experts in making beer and wine and often carry around small brewing kits with them. They drink from very young ages and can not get drunk or intoxicated.

I might post about the other species I'm working on in the future.
