[ NAME/ALIAS, AGE, PRONOUNS, TIMEZONE, TRIGGERS ] If the sinful streets of The District could talk, they would whisper about DAGEN KORT’s arrival. Rumor has it, they are a little bit SECRETIVE & SELFISH. Maybe we should find out for ourselves, they could be AMBITIOUS & FLEXIBLE. All we really know is they will be working as a MERCENARY. Someone said they saw them listening to UNSAINTED by SLIPKNOT on repeat, it’s like their theme song or something. Don’t trust the gossip though, come find out for yourself. You can see them coming from a mile away in BORDELLO by the tell tale signs, REALIZING YOUR WALLET IS MISSING AFTER BEING BUMPED BY A NAMELESS STRANGER, A COLLECTION OF SHINING OBJECTS HOARDED LIKE PRECIOUS GEMS & MUMBLED APOLOGIES UNDER HUNGRY BREATH. [ MENA MASSOUD (RICHARD HARMON, LAKEITH STANFIELD , GOBLIN, CIS MALE, 203 , HE/HIS ]
Too often he’d been asked what made him think a goblin belonged in the sinful streets of Bordello. Each inquiry was met with a sarcastic response, a quick-witted answer that allowed both parties to laugh before changing subjects. The District, in Dagen’s eyes, was elite, but not enough to provide the right home for someone as skilled as he had become. Bordello was the real treasure, a reflection of the freedom they’d had before, before civilization got in the way. Those that obtained the privilege to walk these streets were at the top of the food chain and the goblin, despite the very prejudice against his kind, wanted nothing more than to be a part of them.
There was no desire for familial ties, no want for the sentimental value of belonging somewhere, but instead, he craved the notoriety of the name itself. Wanted it engraved into his flesh so that every person who dared step to him, did so in fear. Too long he allowed himself to be looked down upon. Too many times had he allowed another to belittle him. He wanted his name spoken in the same, hushed tone that was usually reserved for demons or destruction. He needed to be a force, one that would never be reckoned with again, and that started here.
The time he had spent in the slums growing up, in Metro Station, proved to be a benefit for him, the lessons he learned on the streets, only allowing him to perfect the art of thievery. Not only could he lift things of monetary value, but also secrets and intentions. It was this skill that proved him valuable to not only himself but those around him. After all, there was power in everything he collected, even if it wasn’t considered material. While he may not have found himself a seat at the table in the Inner Harbor, he had never been a stranger to the gutters - to the lowly places others wouldn’t dare to go. And, even though the goblin continues to work diligently to show his worth, he’s simply biding his time as he waits for the universe to give him the perfect back to step on the backs of anyone, or anything, to climb higher.
