👀Okay. So the story behind this photo... so this amazing human asked if they could shoot with me and I was beyond honored. It’s night time. I’ve got my LEDs in my prop online. I was beyond excited. So after we got lots of fun, awesome shots I had this silly idea of trying to do a long exposure to get some light trails. We had no flashes to work with but we had one non-flash light. After a handful of tries and looking silly we came out with this masterpiece. I have to give Steven some serious credit for going the extra mile to capture this! You are a true professional. 🐼The iShinobi Studios Website coming soon!🐼 (I NEED YOUR HELP: PLEASE READ!) It's been some time in the works now, deciding what content i want on the new website and what i can do to give back to the cosplay community that has given me so much. I've also successfully moved into a larger apartment that accommodates creativity and cosplay better than my previous setup(one room and a bathroom, yea... that was tough). The big convention season is almost here(Momocon, Colossalcon, Heroescon, Dragoncon, Holiday Matsuri, etc.) Now is the perfect opportunity to turn my attention towards building a website but I need your help! All my funds have been spent on the moving process or have been saved for upcoming bills. I'm setting the goal to $160. Because we are all human and not everything turns out the way we hoped it would, I think these types of post are just as important as others. I believe in sharing all sides of cosplay: the good and the bad. That being said, I am canceling my Monster Hunter World cosplay. I tried. For the better part of a year I really tried to make this work. But in the end, I just fell out of love with this project and working on it became more of a chore and a stress I didn't want in my life. I couldn't have gotten as far as I did without @monstermoth_props who did the majority of the work. Most of his amazing pieces will be saved and parts of the costume will be recycled for other projects. But yeah. That's it. Not every cosplay works out. I thank anyone who showed support along the way and I'm sorry to any Monster Hunter cosplayer out there, but I won't be joining you guys anytime soon. You all look amazing though.
