This was my first full run of Monster Train. This is a great Roguelike Deckbuilder it is similar to Slay the Spire. This game has unique gameplay with having to work with the three layers to kill the enemies on each layer and most importantly the top layer. There is a lot of strategies that you can try like getting all the people on the top level of the train. I did not record myself doing this but this is one of my favorite Roguelites.

Monster Train is a Roguelike Deckbuilder like Slay the Spire but with its own twist to the game. You have three levels to fight on with a fourth floor that is the heart of the train and if that goes to zero you lose the run. The enemy attacks then your allies then that repeats. There is a multiplayer mode but I have not tried it. They just added Workshop support to the game. Each time you beat the game you can choose to make the game harder. You chose two allies to start your run with. As you play you will unlock more allies and cards. I am updating this review to say that I think this game is near perfect.
