Here I was, thinking ice physics in a maze was awful to play through. Try a whole area filled with pits and blunders that'll take a whole heart and put you at the start of the screen! At least it's thankfully short.
The Pepelogoo in the city had corrupted the people, turned them lazy and angry. None more so that the queen, who suddenly turns her sword—uh… fans?--on me and Chikoo!
A rather irritating sphinx stops us from game progression for a bit before I head into the third and final second of the Ice Pyramid. And they introduce SAWBLADES. At least it's a straight forward dungeon and not a maze.
You know when you're terribly lost and the only thing you need is to find the ONE path or ONE door to the thing you need? That's basically this video, which is obnoxious when you're having a relatively good time.
After realizing a LITTLE too late that I need to check my inventory more often, it's off to the miniboss of the pyramids, the mighty minotaur! And then? MORE statue finding/puzzles!
Like giant igloos of the sands and snow, the pyramids are frosted over pretty bad! And I don't think the people and snakes inside the place are happy about it. Come to think of it, shouldn't the snakes be sleeping?
More fires to put out and a familiar looking little would-be adventurer of a shop keep, then it's off to take on the Water Wizard! Surely, this boss isn't gonna slither under my skin or even bug me!
