"Sheesh I was really down.." She pouted almost unconsciously. "So who are you exactly?"
"Unfortunately. I hope you don’t have to deal with such things anymore." She kept up her smile. Hoping to have the other mirror the expression. "Oh I’m Mel. Your werewolf sister."
"You seem to be the only one that know about me. Except that boy." She paused and looked down. "Was I really that depressed?"
"In a way yeah. You were really down on yourself. Questioned your beauty. Worth. Never made much sense to me but you did."
"If we stuck together the you must be a good person!" She wanted to ask so much more questions but she was scared to do so. And she didn't know if could completely trust her 'friend'.
"I like to think so. At least for the most part." She offered a smile to the other. Trying to add as little pressure to the situation as possible. Be an anchor in the very hectic storm that seemed to now be raging for the other. Even if there was a certain look in Chaer’s eye. A question of whether the wolf was the lighthouse trying to guide to safety, or the rocky shore attempting to sink her. Hopefylly she would earn the other’s trust soon enough. There would be enough hurdles to handle without her motives being questioned.
Cleome frowned switching to English as if naturally. "We've been friends for a while?" She looked around surprised by her own ability.
The sudden switch of languages should have raised a brow. But the wolf refrained. This was a bizarre situation as is. No need to bring up more unanswerable questions then necessary. ”Yeah. We met through another person. That one disappeared but we stuck around.”
"A friend?" she asked, tilting her head. "Oh I made one today, I didnt know I already had one! ... Well I don't know a lot of things. I just learned I could speak Japanese."
It was very much a blessing that both sides of her family at one point hailed from Japan. At least it made communication that much simpler. ”Yup. We’ve been friends for a bit. Can’t tell you exactly how long. I’m horrible with dates.”

The wolf stared at the other a moment. Slowly blinking as she took note of the form. Chaer. It looked like her. There was even a trace of her scent. But she was not vampire. “I…I’m Mel. A friend.”
