Headcanon A: realistic
much like gerry and probably jon martin defines a lot of his worth wrt affection as how useful he is. as u said on discord tho he’s pretty self aware of this
Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious
martin uses his lonely powers to get back at jon ‘perpetually cold hands’ sims
Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends
could i do this to martin. could i. martin thinks that once things settle down and fall out of crisis mode (because even at the safehouse there was a looming threat and emotions running high etc etc) his relationship with jon will fall apart and he’ll be alone again
Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.
i think our post post apocalypse au where the apocalypse is reverted and jon & martin get to have their happily ever after is like. this
