Another Montana spring update! Some ruffled petal tulips bloomed today. Also the ivory pillar is in full leaf, I think that’s a flower way up at the top, and the plum looks like she’s going to have leaves to go with those lovely little flowers after all. Sunday evening, I think we hit our high of 37F. Lil’ buds haven’t done much and we haven’t gotten any moisture looking like “April Showers” tho it’s supposed to snow this week. The slow start to spring is one of the hardest things about being a #montanagardener. Ivory Pillar Lilac, Pipestone Plum, and a euonymus I can’t remember but has lovely pinky-purple leaves. Hopefully. This is the first spring I’ve had these trees. I’m documenting their waking up because I was told those brown seed looking things are going to be flowers. First images are of the Ivory Pillar Lilac and the last one is a plum. I also have a Euonymus in the fairy garden, but that’ll be in a different post.
