i am rarely envious of the lone star situation. it's not a show for me.
but you mean to tell me they got an episode specific episode 13 promo even tho it also isn't airing for 2 weeks
and i get a "this season on"
...i have a feeling my complaints about fast and loose are going to continue in 2 weeks
Fandom really quiet about Ryan's latest remarks.
ngl i have been spending my weekend reading and not really on tumblr... like i have with most of my winter break from work, so i haven't really looked into it. all of the 911 discord servers i'm in definitely had discussions at length and it's my understanding the twitter side of the fandom had a lot to say... i briefly scrolled through the 911 tag and saw people discussing it. i'm almost certain that it'll get brought back up once 911 starts airing promos... at least i would imagine....
i've been in the camp that they need to kill eddie since they told me what was in his will... even tho that would 100% be poorly written into the show, so like... rip.
i dunno. i feel like for me it's still very weird to see new eddie content being made and shared... i haven't reached the point where i feel the need to blacklist... but it does feel just.... i dunno. and i'm sure that my queue had eddie content that i just didn't delete because again, i've been enjoying my books this month, but it just feels like an odd time to seek out eddie content...
part of me is already regretting that bucktaylor set bc even tho it's clearly from a promo and all three gifs combined are 40 frames, it's already getting questionable tags.
also running the risk of proving my morning anon right, i don't think i could just go back to stocking my queue without pointing out that i am definitely laughing at the idea of what we saw in the promo is in any way similar to the eddie ana scene...
are they doing dishes? yes... but doing the dishes is not the sign your relationship is ending? and i would like to give people the benefit of the doubt since the promo dropped while i was at work... but even the images i see attached it don't look like stills that were released before the promo which means some people heard buck speaking, heard he was happy, and then said, actually it's a parallel to when eddie broke up with his girlfriend?
and just... i-
it was small, but that background shot of buck/taylor/eddie all interacting at the table and laughing together about something i'll never know about was so affirming to me after months of people trying to get me to believe that eddie hates taylor and weeks of people trying to make me believe the bad faith criticisms that she was going to ruin eddie's christmas.
i got the notification that cocoa was going live last night and part of me is happy i didn’t click in. seeing discussions about what happened is more than enough for me.
clearly she hurt people with what she said. cocoa’s social media presence in general has always reminded me of people in my family, so i can’t ever really look at what she’s doing objectively. hopefully she’s learning from the fact she hurt some people last night.
i also think it was an odd question to post cocoa in the first place... but that’s a completely separate conversation. so i won’t get into it here...
it's really wild that just yesterday y'all were using her facebook meme as evidence something was happening in canon and now y'all are calling this out. bc even the meme she shared had some of these same vibes... so it's just... i dunno.
