Month 8 of drawing Othello every month until he returns
But can y'all believe more than half of 2022 is already gone?
The puppies in their first (tiny) snow of the year!
Uncertain times
Here in Australia, we have all got into a rhythm since my last update.
Our mood for the day is set at about 11am, when the Premier of Victoria, Dan Andrews, has his press conference to announce the latest new COVID-19 numbers, hundreds of them every day, along with a few more deaths. Whether they are up or down on the day before determines how we all feel, pretty much. It’s a strange force of unity for our country at the moment.
For anyone who doesn't know - Victoria is the worst hit state, by far, in Australia currently. What happens next for all of us is riding on what happens there, particularly in Melbourne (our second largest city), which is currently halfway through a stage 3 lockdown and teetering on the brink of stage 4 if the numbers do not trend down soon.
Here in Sydney - the numbers are (while not good) not as bad - and there is so far no uncontrolled community transmission here, which unfortunately we do have in Melbourne. My inlaws are down there too, so Mr CM and I feel very connected to a city which is thousands of miles away from our home.
I am doing my best to keep as positive as I can, to do my job as well as I can (from home), and to stick to the principles I set for myself a few months ago when this started. (Seems like a lifetime ago, doesn’t it?) And I am doing OK at that, so that’s about as much as I can expect of myself right now.
I do feel lucky though - while Australia is not in as good a position as it was in a couple of months ago, with really low new case numbers every day, we are better off than many other countries. So to all my lovely Tumblr followers and friends out there, wherever you may be - hope you are safe and well, and sending hugs around the world to you all.
ya boi on his 8th month of testosterone what up [he/they]
Photo dump June begins month 8 on T Its been really hard this past week. I've had to make some really hard decision about my family and how close I'm going to let them be. I've begun the search for my own last name. I had the most recommended surgeon in the area be charged with fraud and lose his practise Hung up on by another The last resort doesn't take my insurance. So I'll either have to beg people for money on the internet something I told myself I wouldn't do. Or I won't be getting top surgery for a good long while. It's been hard like I said but I'm alive, I'm feeling pretty good about my body. I have a few very kind supportive friends who help me feel stronger. @nikk-mayson sent me a soap to try for my acne that I'm really excited and thankful for. I know it's gonna be okay even if I'm not right now. ---Theo
