successfully (with only a few minor hiccups) maintained daily journalling this entire month! a feat i haven't been able to achieve since childhood.
resumed attempts at daily reading, more intentionally bringing books on public transport
started regularly using fountain pens
learning broad-nib calligraphy, currently comfortable with gothic lower case. practicing daily by writing the date and time in journal entries
public daily log, with brief accompanying notes/thoughts. will continue this

tutoring and documenting teaching frameworks/practices
checking digital to-do list more-or-less daily
got enough bedsheet sets to properly rotate, and dedicated pjs
resumed decluttering
dec 2025:
finish decluttering room & music space
resume earlier bedtime
reading time immediately after waking, instead of phone time
early morning walk (and/or run, as a stretch goal)
10 mins daily of meditation or chill unstimulated zoning out / silence
make more intentional shopping lists for ingredience
have fun experimenting with quick lunches
30 min daily of music play/practice
20 min daily of either game project, video editing, or textile project
10 min daily workspace reset & tidying
learn gothic uppercase calligraphy by incorporating into datetime practice)
schedule cutting own hair sessions (monthly seems like a good cadence?)
pick up [technical project] again and make some progress (stretch goal: set a weekly time slot for this and repeat until it's done)
fix change management bug for [site] and begin documentation
