Indian SAN prices
SAN prices declined this week after holding steady through the recent fortnight and monthly period. Indian SAN prices were assessed at Rs 220.00/kg, down Rs 10.00/kg from last week’s Rs 230.00/kg level. The change marks a modest correction after a consistent plateau, while the product continues to trade close to its recent high of Rs 235.00/kg.
The one-month view shows that SAN had remained static at Rs 230.00/kg before the current weekly dip. Despite this decrease, the three-month comparison remains firm, with prices up Rs 25.00/kg. The six-month gain is stronger at Rs 78.00/kg, and the year-on-year increase stands at Rs 71.00/kg. These comparisons underline the broader recovery from lower levels seen earlier in the year.
SAN prices in India are now positioned around the stated high-side support and resistance marker of Rs 220.00/kg, with the low-side reference at Rs 195.00/kg. Holding near Rs 220.00/kg reflects stability after the recent rise, while movement toward Rs 195.00/kg would point to additional adjustment. Indian SAN prices continue to show a firm medium-term structure, even as the latest weekly trade reflects consolidation after the recent peak, SAN, Price Slip, Market Correction, Month Long Stability, Chemical Market, Trade Update.
