I got this month’s Celebrate States box today. This time it’s on California. I like how the box changes on the outside corresponding to whatever state they feature for the month. Makes it more fun, I think. This time all the items were in a tote/beach bag. (It says “to the beach”.) The bag itself comes from the state. I love the idea that they promote small businesses of each state. They had the items on top of the papers and magazines this time. There was another cat toy in this one. It was a crinkle ball. I think Rosie loves it already. There are a couple of things I’m not really supposed to have, but I might have anyways. Like, there’s a bag of tiramisu-cappuccino flavored popcorn. Sounds and looks really good. I might put myself through the pain. There are also rosemary maple and sea salt almonds. Having a lot of whole nuts messes with my gut. Maybe I could have them really slowly? There was a handmade bracelet, but it’s too small for me. I could probably get an extender or something for it in the future. It looks nice. There’s oatmeal spice scented soap. It smells pretty good. There are a lot of teas this time. That would be fun to try. There are jelly beans. Finally, there’s a Bananas for Chocolate thing. Not sure about that. There are a lot of worksheets, stickers, and magazines. I’ll go through the magazines again to make a list to ‘travel’ virtually to those places throughout the month, like I did with Florida’s box. I still didn’t get to everything on my list, but it was fun.
