Wendy and I go way back since the ('90s). True BFF's...When we met in the 9th grade at Washington High. We instantly connected and hung out on weekends, had sleepovers, talked about the bous at school, ditch class, with our other friends and her baby sister Cynthia. There were days we would ride the RTD (the rough tough and dangerous lol) public transportation to Venice beach and take that long walk from Venice to Santa Monica Pier and waste the day away on rides and games and hurry back before anyone notice we ditch for the day take, the long bus trip back home. We eventually moved on with our lives as we got older married and with kids now, but forever stayed in touch because both of our parents are native Angelenos attended the same high school together and they lived only a few blocks apart. If I had to find wendy I knew to knock on the door. Wendy's mom is Hispanic and from East LA, I loved her cooking authentic LA Mexican cuisine. Being from South Central and East LA we all know our Mexican food and family recipes. Wendy stayed with us here in ATL for a short time I truly appreciate my sister my friend forever and thank you @msalex78 for our friendship and love story. For the month of February we will feature love stories rather it’s your ex, one date, date night, funny , lesson learned dates over your favorite dish.
