This is no walk in the Parc...starting over in a new country that resists speaking English. I was sharing with someone about my memory of the last time I was sick as I am today. Yes, I have a huge sinus infection that has kicked me to the curb longer than I care to discuss. Much like when I got pneumonia 2 years ago. The stress of thinking that in order for me to get a decent job, I would have to finesse the French language. After signing up for 3 months of classes, I realized, I bit off more than I could chew! As a result, the pressure and the stress was so much, my body broke down! My ego did not want to fathom having to work in a call center after 15 years of having a very successful business in the US! However, I bit the bullet, and got a job at a call CENTER. What I am grateful for is what I learned about myself through the process! I realized that the job I truly didn’t want was the very thing I needed! It made me realize how much I want to help people travel! Especially to Africa! Sometimes, one has to die being sick in order to be reborn to make decisions you never thought you would have to make! Because God does have a way of kicking you to the curb so that you can see what it is that you need to do. Not what you want to do! Today, I’m stressed out over new life working at home and what that will entail. Stay tuned for the my world enfolds to an even brighter future in Quebec CANADA one day at a time!
