Happy Birthday Monty Python

Today's the day Monty Python was created 55 years ago! This show not only changed comedy forever but it impacted my life in a good way.

I first was introduced to Monty Python in 2019. I can't remember exactly how I found out about it but I think my mum and dad were watching Monty Python and I came in and really liked it. It also helped me through a really tough time in my life and helped with my anxiety. It always was something I could rely on and could always cheer me up. In 2022, I got out of my first Monty Python phase.

Then earlier this year in like April or whatever I was going through another really tough time and I thought to myself 'oh you know what cheered me up last time.... Monty Python why don't I try that again?!' So I kind of forced myself to watch it again and at first I couldn't get into it but then I started to become obsessed with it. It really helped me through that tough time.

Rediscovering Monty Python took me back to Tumblr and meeting all you guys who have been so nice and just lovely.

So thank you Monty Python for being an antidote to anxiety
