thank you :) and i’m turning 23
Ok so since a certain someone reminded me of the greatness that is Montgomery Clift's bio and the greatness that is Monty Clift in general, I'm going to share some of my fave things I learned from reading the book • Monty was great at mimicking people. When his overbearing mother was mad at him for keeping friends she didn't approve of or him trying to have his own life in general he would mimic her until he made her laugh and wasn't mad anymore • He was an incredibly talented and I believe even an award winning photographer • Was a talented writer. Edited the script to The Search and it ended up winning the academy award for screenwriting like what • Monty was incredibly talented at pretty much everything he attempted. One of those people that things just come easily to and it's infuriating. • Because of this he was also extremely competitive. His brother Brooks was a champion figure skater and so of course Monty had to become a great skater as well • Was extremely close to his twin sister growing up and the two even perfected their own secret language. • Monty once invited his black assistant to Thanksgiving dinner in order to piss off his racist father lmao. If anyone else has any amazing tidbits feel free to share
No his son wasn't there Peter accounts from this from Glenn's diary not him I'm sorry for the confusion
Oh, okay! I was gonna say, that wouldn’t add up unless Glenn and Rita were together long after they made their movies together. That definitely seems possible!

Did you know william Holden did a movie with John Wayne and they didn't get along? LMFAAAAOOOOO
I can kind of see that? Like I imagine John Wayne as very straightforward and he probably took acting a lot more seriously than Bill, who just liked to have a good time while his acting came more naturally. I haven’t seen the movie that you’re referring to, though, I’ve only seen a few of John Wayne’s films.
Thank you, Cherry!

I think if someone asked me to choose between Monty Clift and James Dean, I don’t think I could decide
