i just want to stare at the sea
To the moon...
She walks a narrow path between two moons, carrying silence like a lantern. The sky shifts, and so does she.
last! (for the ask meme)
LAST: Bounding out of the snowy entrance, Lizardpaw perked up her ears and did her best to track her brother and friend.
No excuses writing meme

Giving myself an indulgence.... Being a single mother this is not an easy task. Everything I do revolves around my children. There is justice in treating ones self as well, especially when your main focus is always on another. I believe for myself it is important to remember that the "indulgence" need not be big or expensive in order to have a restorative effect on the self esteem and motivation.
I think my favorite type of meditation is a simple passive meditation where I focus my attention on the flame of a candle or fire as I gain control of my breathing. Doing this the flame provides a focal point for when my mind is racing too much to calm on its own. I feel myself get lost in the flame and lost in time.
In order to make my practice within the druid faith stronger there are a few things I plan to incorporate into my daily life:
daily meditation
focus on learning the use of an herb or 2 per week
daily reading of celtic mythology
daily learning of local herbs (collection and use)
Active Meditation Visualization
When i close my eyes I find myself laying on a mossy forest floor, the trees giving a full canopy with small beams of light coming through the canopy. I can hear the birds chirping and can feel the animals near in the forest. I get up and start walking and find a small waterfall that is pouring into a pool. I can see fish in the pool. I sit on the edge of the pool with my feet in the water until I slip into the water for a swim..... after the swim is done I crawl out and use a space on a mossy rock to relax and lay back and relax until I feel confident that I am fully in control.
