Jekyll in the time where he didnt turn into hyde often, suddenly seeing hyde everywhere. Seeing his figure in a crowd of party goers, seeing his face in the dark corners of his laboratory, seeing his eyes staring at him on a busy street.
It might be jekyll’s subconscious trying to get him to drink the potion, it might be halucinations, who knows.
I love being friends with someone who has a special interest in bugs when I am rather uncomfortable around bugs
(this is not sarcastic!!! I genuinely love learning about something I’m scared of through the eyes of someone that loves them!! It makes me see the world in a new way!)
‘I miss my childhood so much!’ ‘I wish i could be a child again’ ‘everything was so nice when i was a kid’ ‘i want to go back to those times’
Uh guys… you can? People forget the simple concept of age regression. In this world of non chalantness its been labelled as ‘cringe’, but i think its just like.. chill. You wished you could be a child again? GO BE ONE! THE ONLY ONE STOPPING YOU IS YOURSELF!
Showing you guys to get yall interested in a show im making! (No its not written yet, no its not even drawn yet ITS JUST AN IDEA RIGHT NOW OKAY)
Im also making small character intros & an explanation of the show plot, but if you’re just interested in the moodboards, they’re under the cut!
The show: Stories of silverwood
Made by me, and the lovely @fiendishfifi
A long, long, (but not really) long time ago there was a god. God of nature, silva. She roamed the earth freely, due to the believes and prayers of her worshippers.
However, when her land was colonised, and her followers were killed off one by one, she was forced into a small forrest on the east side of an island, just off the coast of Maine. Now, decades go by, and she is slowly forgotten.
Shes furious about being forgotten, but atleast she has her little forrest to reside in, right? Wrong. The ever growing population on her island has forced companies to start cutting down the forrest, her forrest, the Silverwood.
So what does any sensible god do? They appoint a group of guardians to protect her forrest.
And what does any sensible housing company do? Harvest silva’s power out of the forrest to corrupt residents, so they can drive away and/or kill silva’s guardians. Typical stuff!
The stories of silverwood follows a group of teens who were assigned as guardians by silva, after the last group of (adult) guardians mysteriously went missing. Now tasked with keeping the whole island safe from corrupted people, while also managing their own lives and education, they have to try and survive together.
Moodboards + character descriptions are under the cut!
First off: Arthur ‘art’ Rayne, the bear guardian. Arthur is a geeky and badly tempered teen boy, who’s main focus is school, and keeping his life stable. Arthur is trying to make it through school with flying colours, and eventually get a good job in some STEM subject. However, after being chosen as one of the guardians, his life and education gets flipped upside down, especially after getting his first F.
Second off: Yoko Faun, the deer guardian. Yoko is a rulebreaking, rebellious and overall chaotic teen. She loves art, self expression, and most of all, trashy music. Despite her ‘resting bitch face’ and her ‘scary style’, she is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. Her sweetness comes into form when she is chosen as one of the guardians, and is tasked with keeping the forrest and the island safe with her deer guardian abilities.
Third off: Elizabeth ‘Birdie’ Wilde, the owl guardian. Birdie is a cringy, messy, but overall creative teen, who spends her days locked away in her room, working on another project she wont finish. Contrary to her best friend Arthur, she couldnt care less about school, or her grades. She just loves her free-time, which is unfortunately lessened when she is chosen to be one of the guardians. However, contrary to most of the other guardians, birdie is loving this change. Her excitement was expected though, shes always been a weird kid.
Fourth off: Lukas ‘Luke’ Kahn, the snake guardian. Luke is a judgy, mean and arrogant teen, whos just trying to make it through school, and cant wait to get the hell out. Luke has recently become sort of a loner, ever since he was cast out of the popular group. However, he soon found company when he was chosen as one of the guardians, and became friends with the others who were chosen alongside him. And who knows, maybe these new friends, and his new responsibilities, will help him become kinder, and more grateful to the world around him.
Fifth off: Hockley ‘Hock’ Deacon. Hock is witty, smart yet judgemental chap. Unlike the guardians, they are not a guardian, yet far from it. A long time ago Hock was friends with the guardians. The guardians (at the time) didnt respect them much, but they understood, they werent ‘worthy’ to be one of the great guardians after all. However, they wanted to be a guardian, and would do anything to become one. However, after trying to turn themself into a guardian, something went wrong. Instead of turning them into ‘the sheep guardian’, they were stuck in some ‘man-sheep’ form. Now they reside with Silva in the guardian’s base, trying to cling onto any humanity they have left (which is hard when some teen-guardians treat you as a servant).
Last (but not least): the god herself, Silva. Silva lives in her forrest, and usually takes the form of a rabbit, a hare, or a bunny. She loves watching the forrest, and all the creatures in it. However, her residence in the forrest has caused some… abnormalities to the forrest itself. Silva isnt the best at understanding humans, especially not teenagers. However, she needed guardians, and chose whoever she deemed worthy, which were a bunch of teens. So silva, a god, is now tasked with understanding the burdens of being a teenager, tasked to save a god.
Thank you for reading all of this, and/or looking at my moodboards! Have some moodboards for background/side characters for your troubles! (Sadly lots of them dont have names, so i wont be naming names)
Im AWARE that im not conventionally pretty, but i think so far thats helped me. I think its humbled me, its boosted my empathy, its what got me into the hobbies i love. Being different from everyone made me my own person and i am VERY happy with that.
Also being ugly has made me respect other things about me that i actually like. If i wasnt, i wouldn’t have seen anything good about myself otherwise. Or maybe this is all a lie and im just trying to cope :D
